Logging in with two-step verification

Flexmail secures your account with two-step verification by default. After entering your password, you confirm every login with a link we send to your email address. That way, nobody can access your account with just your password.

Why do we do this? Two-step verification is the standard for online accounts today, just like with your bank or your mailbox. Your Flexmail account stores your contact details and sends emails on behalf of your organisation. An extra confirmation step during login keeps that data protected.

How to log in

  1. Go to your login page and enter your email address and password.
  2. You see this message:

"We sent a login link to your email address. Open your inbox and click the link to complete your login. The link is valid for 15 minutes and works only once."

  3. Open the email from Flexmail.
  4. Click the link in the email within 15 minutes.
  5. You are logged in and arrive on your dashboard.

Tip: Flexmail never asks for your password in this email. If you are not sure whether an email came from us, do not click the link and log in again through the Flexmail website.

Multiple people in one account

The confirmation link always arrives in the mailbox of the user who logs in. If you share a login with colleagues, only the owner of that email address receives the link. Give each colleague their own user profile instead.

  1. Click your account name in the top right corner and choose Users.
  2. Click Create new user.
  3. Enter your colleague's profile, first name, last name, language and email address.
  4. Click Save.

Your colleague receives an email to set a password and can log in right away. The number of users you can create depends on your subscription plan.

The email does not arrive

  • Wait a few minutes. Sometimes an email takes a moment to arrive.
  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Add the sender address to your safe senders list so future emails arrive in your inbox.
  • Check whether you logged in with the correct email address.

A link is valid for 15 minutes and works only once. Log in again via the Flexmail website and we will send you a new link.

Still not working?

Contact support. We verify that you are the account owner first and then help you further.

Disabling two-step verification

Two-step verification is an account-wide setting and can be disabled. We strongly advise against this, because without two-step verification a password is all someone needs to access your account. You can read how to adjust this setting in Setting your security policy.

Tip : Are you turning this off because you share a login with colleagues? Create an individual user account for everyone instead. That keeps your account secure and lets everyone work with their own permissions.
