About the Media library (File manager)
In the Media Library of your account, you can find all your images and documents.
Through the settings of your account, you can open the extended version of the Media Library. Here all functionality is available and it is mainly intended to manage and organize the Media Library. From the other parts of the application, such as messages, we show a simplified version that mainly focuses on quickly uploading, finding, and inserting files.
Navigating and organizing in the Media Library
Using the toolbar above the media library, you can navigate with the arrows back to the previous and next location and you can easily search your entire media library at any time.
You can also adjust the view of your files from large icons to a list view. The number of icons we show per row is automatically adjusted based on the width of your screen.
Additionally, you can filter the displayed files so only images or documents are shown, and you have the option to sort your files in ascending or descending order based on name, file size, or creation date.
Behind the gear icon, you can always find the relevant actions that you can perform. The content of this menu will be adjusted depending on your location and selection.
You can also pin folders and mark files as favorites through this bar, so you can quickly find them later.
Finally, you can create a new folder and upload new files at the current location through this menu.
Handy locations and your most used folders
In the sidebar of the Media library you will find some handy shortcuts at the top that will help you quickly navigate to different Locations within the Media library.
Through My Library, you can return to the home screen of your Media library with ease. Under Favourite files, you will find all the files you have marked as favourite, and in Recent files, you will see all the files that have been added to your media library in the last 5 days.
In the Pinned section, all the folders of your Media library that you have pinned will appear.
Finally, at the bottom of the sidebar, you can see how much Storage you have and how much is currently in use.
