Why upgrade to the new version?

If you've landed on this article, it means you're part of the last 5% of Flexmail users who haven't yet switched to the latest version of Flexmail. This also means:

  • You've been unable to use the latest Flexmail features and improvements for 2 years already
  • You still can't use the new Email Builder, while the current Builder will be discontinued on January 30th

Your account will be automatically migrated to our latest version on December 15, 2025. This upgrade brings numerous improvements that will take your email marketing to the next level.

  • Consolidate nested segments to maximum 5 levels

Potential API migration

As a result of replacing old features, some old SOAP API services are also disappearing.

When we detect SOAP API usage in your account, we show a customized warning on your dashboard that explicitly mentions this.

If your integration with Flexmail currently uses these deprecated services, the existing integration will need to be adjusted or recreated to connect to our new Email Marketing API (REST).

Only in this way will the connection continue to work fully after switching your account.


Custom integrations

Is your contact data currently flowing automatically to Flexmail? Then you most likely have an integration that was specifically developed for you or is part of a partner's service offering.

In this case, it's best to contact your integration partner to review together what the next steps are to migrate to the new API.


Subscription forms

Don't have systematic synchronization but still see this message? Then you might be using a third-party plugin on your website for the subscription form that uses the SOAP API.

Replacing this plugin with a newer version or switching to an embedded opt-in form could be a simple solution in that case.
