Configure your test profile
The test profile stores sample contact data that Flexmail uses when you preview a message. When your message contains personalisation placeholders like #firstname# or a custom field, the preview shows the test profile values instead of the raw placeholder code, giving you a realistic view of what your contacts will actually see.
Set up your test profile

Go to Settings, then Manage test profile

Enter sample values for each field: first name, last name, email address, and any custom fields you've created.
- Click Save.
Your test profile values are used in message previews in the Email builder, Wizard Template, and HTML Editor, as well as in Message Check previews.
Support tip Use realistic-looking but obviously fictional data, for example "Sophie Dubois" and "sophie.test@example.com". This makes previews feel authentic without risking the exposure of real contact data. Include values for all custom fields you regularly use in personalisation.
